Hi everyone, This is Devashri. I am a Veterinarian by background and a mother of two young children. I would like to share my personal wellness story. I have lost over 12 LB (close to 5.5 KG) over 6 months period. This has helped me become more energetic and increasingly productive. I am sharing this post so I can inspire you and share some ideas. I have achieved this through simple lifestyle modifications and proper supplementation.
First, let me tell you what I did not do:
I didn't go to the gym
I didn't follow any fad diet
I didn't starve myself
Now here is the basic principle: For your Weight loss 80 % is what you eat and 20 % is exercise.
Portion control - Focus on reducing carbohydrates and increasing protein and fiber. If you eat 3 Rotis you can reduce it 2 Rotis and increase your Sabji portion and Daal portion. Same thing with rice. Timing - Finish your dinner before 7 pm. You need to have a 12 -14 hour gap between dinner and breakfast. (Intermittent fasting)
Protein - There are a lot of advantages of adding and increasing protein. First, protein takes longer to digest so keeps you full for longer. Second, it helps you build better muscle mass. Third, most importantly you replace carb intake with protein intake. This promotes fat burning as you switch from burning carbs to fat.
Vitamins - Daily vitamin to cover all your daily needs and Omega fatty acids for maintaining better balance. CalMagD for bone health. Exercise - 20-25 min Stairs for Cardio and Yoga. The most important aspect is building good, incremental habits. No need to suddenly change your routine upside down. I hope this will help you in your wellness journey.

Hi..I am Sushma, a doctor by profession.So in 2018, I had my second child.I had gained loads of weight by thenWhen I delivered I was around 80 kgs. After few months I lost some of my pregnancy weight and came down to 77.My job was very stressful and looking after my family and taking care of myself was becoming impossible I gained so much weight that it started to affect my health I started getting knee pains, unable to run around with kids. I then did a bit of research and one of my family friends referred me to WMR. I met Anandana through an acquaintance and she introduced me to a nutritionist... Renu mam. We had a zoom meeting initially. They understood my day-to-day life and made a plan accordingly which included home-cooked food and few products like shakes, protein powder, and supplements. It was very difficult initially to stick to healthy eating but Renu mam & Anandana kept me on track. They asked every single day how things went. This kept me motivated. When I started to lose weight week by week I was even more motivated. I lost 13 kgs in 3 months. This was amazing. I felt really light and my knee pains reduced. I looked at least 7-8 yrs younger when I lost weight. Thanks to the WMR team.

Hi friends..I am Kavita. I am sharing my weightloss journey to inspire you so that you can do it  too with just a few changes in lifestyle.

I was overweight with 70kg and was feeling so tired and not much energetic. Due to my overweight I was having issues such as joint pain, less flexibility, migraines, acid reflux and many more. Then I decided to go through my weight loss process and now I am so happy with my weight and have reached to 58kg. 


Following are the changes I made in my lifestyle to achieve this:
-I cut down sugar and replaced it with honey in my tea. Apart from that i cut down on juices and bakery foods, which are mostly processed. 
- I added lots of vegetables and a few fruits in my diet to have more fibrous food in my diet. Additionally I added  probiotics and fiber supplements in my diet. 
- i added some physical activity in my routine. Nothing significant.. some body movement for atleast 30 min/day
- I added more protein sources in my diet to target to have atleast 50 grams everyday. That helped me in keeping myself full, not feeling hungry and also helped in building muscles while loosing fat. 

- i drank atleast 8-10 glasses of water to keep myself hydrated and flush out the toxins. 

Vitamins - Daily vitamin to cover all my daily needs and Omega3 fatty acids for maintaining better balance. CalMagD for bone health.

- Last thing is timing. I finished my  dinner before 7 pm. We need to have 12 -14 hour gap between dinner and breakfast.

"Being Overweight hampers  your self-confidence mentally and physically"

​Hello friends, I am Siddharth. My journey from 93.5kg to 75.5kg goes this way. Before losing weight  I used to get cramps mostly in my legs.  I couldn't even climb uphill (4km) without getting breathless and stop in between. As an overweight person, I used to feel body shamed. Now I am over it.

​After losing weight I  wake up every morning feeling fresh and hydrated. Cramps do not occur anymore.
My skin has a natural glow now. Now in any physical activity, I feel fresh and energetic.
During my period of losing weight, I used to run for 2km and used to go to the gym.

​As regards my diet...Ragi flatbread,  leafy vegetables. Fenugreek seeds powder & Egg whites. Sprouted moong beans. Fibre & Multivitamin, Whey  Protein powder after gym & Omega3. All this helped me a lot
while losing weight.

Hello Friends, This is Prashanth. I work in the IT industry. I wanted to share my story of going from an obese 95kg to a healthy 80kg in 90 days. Halfway through the pandemic, I gained 5-6 KG of weight in just a short span of time. I had a BMI of 35+ and was going through several symptoms. I was pre-diabetic, borderline for Hypertension, knee pains, and used to feel drained out of energy throughout the day.   I tried several weight loss procedures which gave immediate results but I had gained back even more than before after I stopped the procedure. The wellness consultation from WMR helped me understand the real root cause for my weight gain and how I can address the root cause.WMR also helped me personalize my weight loss journey with the diet I like and the nutrition that my body needs. It helped me heal from the inside and I feel so energized all through the day now and do all the tasks that used to overwhelm me before. I was 103 kgs when I started with WMR and today I am 85 kgs. The guidance from the wellness coach helped me to change my habits in eating, excercise, rest and managing my stressful work. In addition, the supplements helped in keeping the energy level high and lose weight in healthy way. The supplements which I used were Bodykey, Protein Powder, Daily Multivitamin and Salmon Omega. It was a great journey and with support of the wellness coach and the WMR community staying healthy has become very simple and part of my life.

Her personal care towards my health, after Hysterectomy surgical period, gave me confidence and trust that she is the right mentor for weight loss. A personalised plan for me, all through, motivating words to drive my mindset in the right direction, my will power and determination have added to the program's concurrent goal. The slightest deviations in the routines were also taken care of. My journey was very steady with a balanced diet and supplement plan. The everyday small victories eventually helped me to reduce my weight to 74 kgs. Today I feel much more energetic and a great positive vibe in my life . This journey has not only impacted my lifestyle but my family has also been impacted positively. During the 3 months, I had healthy food, did exercise 5 to 6 days in a week,  added supplements to my diet, reduced stress and sleep in time.
